Wiper question

Speaking of auto parts stores like Orieleys. Stopped in for a 3' piece of 5/16 fuel line. $21 and change they wanted. I cant stand the place but it was the only one open to get a friends tractor running. Thats the last penny I give the SOB's.
Was it fuel injection hose? That sounds about right for FI hose. Standard fuel hose should be much cheaper but they may not have had any or may have steered you to the fuel injection stuff to try and get more pennies out of you. Not sure.

More like NOrieleys?! Am I right?!

hmm hard to say what’s normal because my solid circle on the right is gone. Does it feel like it works properly if you don’t look at the stalk?
When I have it on the hollow dot the wiper moves every 30seconds or so and does increase im rate as I move the twist knob closer to the shorter printed line

A friend is manager of what was his family’s auto parts store, now an Advance. He told me that the Advance chain is owned by one brother, Auto zone owned by his brother, Orillys by one of the twos exwife. When one comes into an area, they all eventually end up there, drive out the competition, and raise the prices.

Not to mention the idiots...Granted not all of them are.
Actually ran into a Very Bright Chick behind the counter at a Prescott store, she knew more about my J10 front axle than I did.
I instantly asked her to marry me, then she instantly turned me down when she showed me a ring, Damn it, that one would have been a keeper..

But when you try to buy a fuel pump for a 327 Rambler and some young kid behind counter says "oh it's a Chevy"...Yeah, NO.
Just saying.

Yeah it actually was now that I checked. I asked for plain low pressure hose but the gal who helped my took 10 minutes and probably didnt know the difference. It still boggles the mind when I can buy oil at home depot or even the local grocery store for $3 to $4 bucks a quart cheaper. Suppose thats where they make their money??

Yeah I’m sure a lot of people probably don’t realize the other places sell stuff cheaper so they just go to the parts store. The parts stores really profit from that from the very obviously inflated oil prices.

Well Chit... .The new wiper motor got installed today and same thing. Slow speed only and no return to bottom of windshield when turned off. At this rate between the half working gauges, bad switch i guess??. I will not spend $100 for a new wiper switch, so a 3 way toggle if fine by me. Blue wire is fast, white slow, end of problem. No surprise the Haynes manual wiring diagram is not even close to my wiring colors on the wiper motor or switch.
I dont know where to look regarding the wipers so any input regarding the wiper operation or lack of feel free to speak up, bad relay or, dunno. The blinkers, brights, washer and slow speed all work on the switch, just not the high speed or return feature. Im getting dam frustrated with the electrical gadgets in this thing.
