I’ve recently replaced my clutch and when I went to start it up there was nothing. No crank no nothing. I checked the starter (which is basically brand new) and a mysterious wire appeared that I haven’t seen before. My thought is that this wire is my issue for no start. It’s two wires that come together at one eyelet, one black wire one black wire with a red stripe. I’m unsure of what it connects to. I have removed the starter to have more room to look for where this wire is supposed to go. I’m really hoping that this wire being connected will solve my no start issue. All help is appreciated thank you.

Try trading your crocks in for work boots and see if that helps. No, sorry just kidding and couldn’t resist.

This is from my '92 YJ 2.4 The starter wires and a grounding bolt on the block above the starter. Hope this helps.

Those are the only wires I see with that type connector.
