    AX15 transmission fluid recommendations?

    can someone recommend a fluid weight and type for the ax15 tranny. calls for gl-3(obsolete), then a gl-4 75-90 non synthetic or gl-5 with no additives and non synthetic. auto parts are no help at all. can I use the 10-30w sinthetic?

    Gearing question

    just bought 89 yj w/33's and dana 35 rear/30 front both have lockers in them . Problem is gear ratio is close to 300 (3:08?). How low of a gear can I change to without getting rid of carriers, 4;56s? thanks. New to thread.
