Oil pan gasket: sealant or no?

I replaced a leaking oil pan gasket on my ‘06 LJ last year and the FSM calls for a dab of Mopar sealant at each corner.

Now it’s time for the same thing on the ‘95 4.0, but the FSM doesn’t mention RTV or sealant.

Should I use some anyway?

Didn’t use any on mine. Used a victor reinz gasket and was careful about getting it aligned properly and tucked in the bearing cap properly.

A dab on each side of the rear main bearing cap.
