Yep, that is stock even though it looks weird. Is it also supposed to have that gap in the bushings too. It’s just to limit a maximum and minimum amount of driveline rotation due to torque. As a result, it isn’t supposed to grip the skid plate tightly at all.
Thought the same thing when I first saw mine, ya it looks weird.
And if you experience unusual banging and clunking under the the floorboard, that's probably the culprit.
Though that could also be indication of a broken motor mount.
