I have a 1994 Wrangler YJ 2.5/5-speed. The clutch went out and at the same time the engine died. When I tried to restart it the ignition switch was completely dead-it would turn but no power at all. Just like a dead battery but not even a click noise as if the switch was completely disconnected. Still have power to interior light, radio etc. but zero to ignition. I’m stumped as to what the problem is. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I’m not sure what you mean by the clutch went out. Your hydraulic release system broke or what? The clutch has nothing to do electronically with anything else so it’s a coincidence of some sort, if anything.

You'll need a multi meter to test the battery voltage to the starter and see if it is at least getting power to it. Could be bad cables, ground connections, bad battery, ignition switch, fuse.

Nothing to do with the clutch though.
