Driving down the road flipped off the brights and it shut down. Figured it was fuel related. Since it had spark. Replaced coil, fuel pump, filter, regulator and relay. Still no start. Checked no fuel coming out from Schrader valve. Fuel pump not kicking on. Codes are 12,75,73,35,55. Cleaned grounds still nothing. Jumped relay still nothing. Also replaced asd relay. Check engine light comes on and shuts off.

Given that the fuel pump isn't kicking on and there's no fuel at the Schrader valve, I'd focus on a few potential areas:

1. Wiring and Connectors: Check the wiring to the fuel pump. Look for any damaged wires or poor connections that may have come loose. It might also be worth inspecting the connectors for corrosion.

2. Fuel Pump Relay: Even though you replaced the ASD relay, double-check the fuel pump relay specifically. Ensure it's seated properly and not faulty. Sometimes new parts can also be defective.

3. PCM (Powertrain Control Module): Since the pump isn't activating, there could be an issue with the PCM not sending the signal to turn on the pump. Check if you’re getting power to the fuel pump relay when the ignition is on.

4. Grounds: You mentioned that you cleaned the grounds. Make sure that all ground connections are tight and corrosion-free, especially the ones related to the fuel system.

There is a lot going on here as Chris alluded to.
-Double-check all fuses and relays
-Verify power to the fuel pump
-Test the MAP sensor
-PCM connections
If everything checks out and you're still getting the P0505 code, it might be time to have the PCM tested or replaced
 
Post your code video. 75 and 73 are not in the list of codes. 32 is a common code, 35 is not. Sure you counted that one right? If you truly have a 35, that means you have an XJ PCM because a YJ doesn't have an electric cooling fan, and that's what code 35 is for.

You've got something weird enough by itself is the fuel pump is cutting off when you turn off the high beams. Those two have no ties in stock form.

I don't mean to be a dick, but the AI responses really are not that helpful. It's pretty clear the majority of posts here lately have been generated by AI and they are more misleading than they are helpful. Code 75 does not exist on a YJ and code 35 is not for the IAC, it's an XJ only code for the electric cooling fan.

The OP said he had a 75 code. Did someone else? If so I didn't see it

I see it now. OP could have misread it sure. And AI, yeah, the other day my kid was using it and AI said it was Monday when it was actually SATURDAY!!!!! lol. Can't trust that stuff!
 
Sounds like bad grounds, but you said you cleaned them. I had a bent ground pin in my connector to the fuel pump and it led to intermittent problems. I guess the fuel pump was able to kind of ground but not always? I'm not a great mechanic but I'm trying to figure out how the brights connect to the fuel pump. Maybe a fuse blew? 🤔

If the light thing was a coincidence, it could be the fuel lines. My ECU shut my fuel pump down *almost* immediately when it wasn't delivering fuel. I thought it wasn't kicking on at all but the multimeter showed a quick 12v spike that wouldn't persist. Once I fixed my lines and had fuel going all the way to the rail the pump stayed on. Maybe in all that part replacement a line got kinked, or delivery/return to the fuel tank swapped?
 
Ok so relay has been replaced. Just checked the socket it goes into and it seems to be working as designed. Have to check wiring at the tank. Pin 86 used as a ground 30 has constant power 85 has power when key turned on 87 showed nothing but I think that's as designed. Also checked with the asd relay and same results. I could only find the ground on the engine block. I was unable to find one in the parking brake location. All the fuses checked out good. I'd hate to take it to the dealer but also tired of it sitting in my shop. As far as a video for the codes the forums says the file is too large to upload
