    Sounds like something is kicking on the ASD relay, meaning you’ve probably got a sensor that’s bad? Lookup ‘ASD Relay’ and search through some posts for reasons the ECU trips it. Could also just be the relay itself.

    I just went with autozone duralast brand, had a limited lifetime warranty and the casting quality looked better than stock at least

    For what it's worth my jeep and the 4.0 is running great on the new distributor with newer cam sensor/sending unit.

    Agree... It looks like they just flipped the locator wheel and the connector is exactly the same. I put an auto o-scope on the signal and it's a nice looking 5v square wave, so I assume it'll work, but wanted to check. Thanks for the input

    Sounds like a computer problem if it takes a while to do anything and then starts working, lookup 'capacitors on YJ computer'
