Scoured all the parts data bases in Canada and couldn’t find one, hit eBay and found one in Selaware with the slip yolk include. $50US for the parts, $60 for shipping to western Canada. I couldn’t be happier.

It looks like everybody that ever had this issue got a slip yolk eliminator kit which requires a longer drive shaft. The angle of the shaft is less, making for a much beefier set up. This ain’t gonna be cheap.

You are very knowledgeable about this stuff. Yes that helps knowing that t-case slip yolk is at least going to be easy to get.

That’s crazy that they don’t make replacement shafts. Off to eBay I go I suppose. Do you know offhand if the replacement yolks are the same?

IMHO, LED headlights on a vintage YJ take away all the class. I’m cool with LED marker lights but headlights with 10 little bright dots no way.IMHO. Looks cheapy

I had a small drip at my fuel filter a while back. Doesn’t take much of a leak to make a big smell. And yup. Dangerous

From my personal experience, if you drop the windshield you can maintain a much higher speed on a long trip. Just be prepared to clean your “sunnies” often and don’t smile cause bugs.
