Shims finally showed up , got them installed today! Wow It is driving so smooth, very happy. Thank you for the input guys. It is now exactly 2 degree difference. My picture sucks concrete was hot AF

I ordered a 6-degree shim, which should be here on Wednesday.

I grabbed an angle finder and here is what I was able to come up with. So In theory I need a 7-degree shim correct?

I definitely do not want to guess I want to do it right. I will look for an angle finder online and get one coming, then revisit here.

I had it made , it was cheaper to do that than to buy a new factory one from what I was told. It was made by Tatton's Driveshafts. He had an ad on ebay it was around 200.00

I drop the transfer case lower to do that or Shims between the axle and the leaf springs?

OK, so an update I have gotten the rear diff fixed. I watched a ton of videos and borrowed the shop today and all seems well, not sure if my drive shaft angle is too much though.

I was afraid of that , will do it though.

It moves a little when turning it by hand side to side. if you pull on it it comes in and out also

MY cat converter was hitting my skid plate on the xfer case on my first jeep, took me about 30 minutes to find the issue. I checked my newest aquisition and its also hitting in the same place.

You need to spin that converter more and move it back and forth a half turn each way back and forth while pushing down on it. you are not all the way in. Glad you didn't try to tighten it up woulda have broken your front pump.
