Over the next month or so I’m looking at installing a winch. I’m curious what y'all currently run. I definitely want something solid and I am not a fan of the stinger models. I thought stubby but it doesn’t matter. My running is mostly beach and sand, not rocks and trees etc.
 
I don’t have a winch on mine yet but the Warn front bumper combined with the Warn winch mount is a nice setup, looks good and classic with none of the stinger look.
 
Exactly. I’m looking at the VR8swinch. After looking at many many bumpers, I’m thinking about just a winch plate on my current stock bumper and the the winch. I like the clean simple look
 
Well, I was looking at my jeep this morning and decided I like the basic, minimalist look. I’m not doing much off road on tree lined forest trails. Most of mine is sand/beach. So with that said, I’m going to get a winch plate and the Warn VR EVO8-S winch and go simple. I may upgrade the bumper later.
