Ive read a couple posts referring to the T case hole from pump rub. Never seen or heard of it on a Jeep T case. My Silverado yes. Along those lines if it craters on the road far from home Im curious if a tire patch plug would work enough to keep fluid in long enough to get it back to a shop or home. Redneck big time, but from what Ive seen on chevys the hole is small and this just might work somewhat. Im waiting for my Obamalet silverado to crap out yet again so I can burn it to the ground on our property. I will Youtube this for sure.

If you could get it clean enough to get it to stick, you bet!!

I’ve only seen that mentioned a few times by one guy. Have never ever heard of that and don’t see how it would happen on the Jeep case. The pump housing itself shouldn’t be moving at all when the tailhousing is bolted down, and the pickup tube/screen are plastic so I don’t see how those would do any damage.
