Hi there. I have a 1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ, 5 speed.
I live in Phoenix and, while the weather is perfect for driving around town right now, inside my Jeep with no A/C, it still gets a little toasty. Especially from the heat that seems to be coming from my shifter boot. Upon further inspection, it doesn't really seem like the boot is doing a lot to keep engine exhaust/heat from coming into the main cabin of the car.
I've been looking at Rock Auto and Quadratic but thought I'd ask in here... anyone have a solid reco for shifter boots that will keep the heat out better? Or do I need to do a better job sealing the one I currently have? Open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!
