Update. I removed the track bar today then took the yj for a spin and everything straightened out . thanks for the advice

That's true, but unless you're doing some SERIOUS off roading, it will never matter.

In the rear, long side goes up. In the front, short side goes up.

It probably is never going to matter on those springs and shackles, those shackles are so long I doubt you’ll ever be able to invert them. But preventing spring inversion is why short side goes up on the front.
