Alright, so my 93 YJ with a 2.5 has a bad clutch for the factory fan, and the PO decided to toss the factory fan shroud. In the interest of good cooling, I want to get that sorted out. There are no junk yards in my area with a fan shroud, and the cost of having one shipped along with the new clutch assembly is quite steep so I'm considering doing an electric fan.

Does anyone have recommendations for electric fans? Bolt on kits, or universal, I'm not afraid of having to do some wiring and fab work, thanks!

You're better off finding a shroud. I have yet to see any aftermarket electric fan that outperforms the stock fan.

I disagree with Machoheadgames. I have the derale 20161 and I love it. Easy to install and wire up, and it blows hard! Watch the temp gauge creep up to the kick temp and then watch it drop quickly after the fan kicks on. The one negative I'll say is the thermal switch it comes with isn't the best. I would get a different thermal switch, a manual switch or an electronic controller for the fan. I just swapped my engine to a V8, but I kept the fan, and it has no problem cooling the larger engine. Another bonus is you'll have a lot more room in your engine bay

Argh, ‘tis blasphemy to disagree with Macho! 🏴‍☠️
