LS engine swap for YJ

I am putting a 5.3L LS into my 1990 YJ. I will be using Advance Adapters engine mounts. The trans is a 700R and NP231. The YJ as purchased has a 6 inch lift. My question is, should I install a slip yoke eliminator. Since I have to weld the motor mounts in place, location of the mount is crucial. I am trying to eliminate the need for two custom drive shafts. Has anyone used this combination?
