Knocking noise over bumps and kerbs

Hi again.
I've got an odd and annoying 'kronking' sound when I pull off my slightly sloped drive. It has a very low kerb on the end of bit, perhaps an inch high to the pavement, and when I inch forward off the kerb (just rolling, no power) there is 'kronk' for each wheel that drops.
It's not a knock or a donk, more a 'kronk' or a 'knuckly' sound??
I can feel it through the cab/ floor...
Happens when I reverse back up the drive too.
Ride quality underway is fine, nice and straight, not noises, no 'kronks' over speed humps etc, very stable ride with no steering issues or suspension issues.
Just seems to be when I pull onto a kerb at an angle.

I noticed the sway bar bushings seem to be well worn and have ordered replacements so I'm wondering if this might be the culprit?

It would really help to hear what else could cause this kronking sound and vibration as I've just changed the Shackle bushings to see if they get rid of the sound but they didn't.

Also any hints or tips on how to clean these areas up? they look terrible and I'd love to get them looking cleaner and neater.

Many thanks

Anyplace there’s rubber it can wear out and clunk. Definitely replace those sway bar bushings, but it could also be the sway bar links, tie rod ends, drag link, track bar, any of the 11 body mounts, ball joints at the steering knuckles, loose bolts on the shackles or axle U-bolts, broken exhaust hanger.

Just have to get under there and start trying to wiggle everything that shouldn’t.

Just thought of another one which drove me nuts on my 91. Knock every time it moved a bit, went up a driveway or anything that caused slight articulation. Weeks of diagnosis I finally found the hood to be the culprit. IIRC it was just slop in the pass side hinge or the metal poping when slight of twist happened. The fix was rubber bumpers under the edge of the hood in the back corners.
