You experts are my only hope!

I’ve had a 1993 YJ Sahara for two months. It has 6k miles on it now; bought it with 4k two months ago. Everything is like new or replaced. The intermittent wipers don’t work and I plugged in a new wiper module and now the jeep won’t crank or turn over at all even when I reinstalled the old module. It has power to everything but won’t even attempt to start. What could have happened?

Might seem like a silly question but us the battery good? Do you get any dash lights when turning the key on? Do the headlights come on?

I had a battery go bad, without any warning, where the headlights were bright but as soon as I turned the key everything shut off.

Also, the actual electrical switch for the key is located on the steering column. Depending on how much you may have disturbed the wires when replacing the wiper control you may have bumped or pulled one of the plugs loose.
