Great distributor…

…so far. Was having trouble sourcing an affordable distributor that I could pick up locally and not have to ship my core back. Thrilled to have found one at Napa auto parts for $51. Put it in, my code 11 disappeared and it is running smoother than ever! Luckily I was not left stranded on New Year’s Eve in the Santa Cruz mountains searching for an area called buzzards lagoon. See the pic of redwoods run.

Wow, looks great and good fix for the price of a tank of gas.

Emerald triangle is a few counties north of here, no devil’s lettuce cultivation around these parts. I had been looking for a place to wheel close to home and in the Bay Area this is as good as it gets. The place was a bit sketchy, as a few rigs that did not make it out have been smashed and burned up in there.

Side note on the distributor, mine is a 1993 2.5, Haynes manual instructions for pre 1994 engines were not correct and I used the 1995 engine instructions.
