Quick one.
Please can someone send me a pic of which line I use to connect to the fuel filter return line back to the tank?
I have 3 lines running along my chassis but cant figure out the return that connects back to the tank to help prevent vapour lock with my carb.
Thanks all!

I see in your profile you have the 2.5L and switched from fuel injection to a carb. The fuel return line should connect to the fuel filter. At one end of the filter is the line from the fuel pump and the other end of the filter are two lines, one above the other. The top line is the return line and the bottom line goes to the carb. All this is based on if you have the correct fuel filter. My 2.5L is injected and the filter has one fuel line in from the pump and one out to the injector fuel rail which is where my return line starts. Fuel is split between injectors and return.

When I trace the fuel line from the tank to the currently fitted in-line filter, to the carb via the little electric pump, it terminates just before the pump with a 'bung' shoved in it.

But when tracing the fuel feed line back from the pump to the tank it totally bypasses the filter and disappears behind the axle somewhere.

So it looks like someone mixed them up and I have zero filtering in place!
For a year!

How do I test my theory without blowing myself up?
Unplug the filter hoses and see if she still runs for a while??
