I just got a 1994 yj 2 weeks ago and I’ve put a 2.5 lift, changed out both bumpers, put new wheels ant tires on it and redone the stereo system. I am new to the jeep community and am having a blast working on my new jeep. I am not going to be crawling it or anything crazy mainly to take my two boys and wife out and towing it behind my motorhome. If anyone has some ideas of more things I can upgrade to make the jeep more reliable and fun upgrades I am all ears. I have uploaded pictures of how it looks now and what it was when we got it. Thank you

Welcome. Dang, I wish you were nearby. I want your wheels.

As for what you should do to it, I’d just wait a bit and see what speaks to you. Nobody needs it to do the same thing as you do, so our advice for mods won’t be crazy helpful. Plus, every mod you do tends to open up a rabbit hole of needing supporting mods after it to make it all work and eventually you’ve spent tons of money and time fixing problems you created. So I’d just leave it alone and let it tell you what you need based on shortcomings you find.

Oh yeah...about your jeep jschilling. Looks good :) Id do a full fluid service. My only opinion is if you hit mud, rain or snow your gonna hate those wide wheels with no flares if the top is off or your windows are open. :0

Good recommendations. You’ve done some of the basics. Let it talk to you for other upgrades. What bumper did you install? Oh, and I would indeed to a complete bumper to bumper fluid change. Get a good baseline.

Thank you I believe I got the rugfed ridge plastic fender flares and I didn’t like the way the looked and how cheaply made they were. I have been looking at the bushwhacked set. Do you have any recommendations for a good set that are made good.

The day I got it I did a full fluid change I was surprised how good the last owner took care of it. He bought it off the lot brand new in 1994. Really appreciate all this good advice thank you
