I'm trying to get the driver's seat out so I can weld in a new floor pan. One week an so far I have one nut off. Rust is ther culprit.

WhataBoob I am. I guess the heat is getting to me. The nuts on the two flat head bolts welded to the seat stand came off with a little trouble due to rust and undercoating on the threads but not impossible.
But...
Nowhere did I read the nuts on the other two hex head bolts are welded to the tub under the seats and all I needed to do was unbolt them from the top side.
One week and ten minutes later I'm happy again.
