Hi all, I run a Jurassic Park Jeep here in the UK with almost sceen-accurate KO2's on.
Is there an alternative to these that offer better economy?
I like the look of them: chunky with the white letters etc etc but the low economy and high rolling resistance is beginning to bother me.
Any options that you are running in your neck of the woods?
Thanks
Glen.

In the factory 215 size I feel like they probably aren’t costing much fuel economy. I have the same tire but KO3 on mine, though I haven’t really driven enough to know what true fuel economy I could get. There are not a lot of options in that size so it may be difficult to get away from them.

Toyo has the ATIII but they will look pretty plain because their version in 215 is a passenger tire, not LT.

Super fast reply from Denver! ain't the internet marvellous.
Thanks. Yeah, that's my impression too - LT's look much better and are right for the movie car. So were the stock tyres 15s as well? and LT from factory.?

Stock tires were a P215/75R15, so basically they were a highway tread but exact same height and load as the Toyo I mentioned. However they all look really tame. I’d stick to LT for looks.

You could go up to LT235/75R15 and get a more aggressive looking tire that maybe isn’t as heavy but is larger, just because there are more options available.
