Best Padded Center Console for 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ – YETI Compatible?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a nice quality, long-lasting padded center console for my 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ—ideally something that can securely hold a YETI coffee tumbler (20–30 oz). My commute to work is taking a hit since I’m choosing Jeep over coffee, and it’s time to fix that.

Looking for a console that’s:

Comfortable and well-padded
Built to last
Fits a YETI tumbler without tipping
Bonus if it has storage compartments or organizer features

Any tried-and-true options out there for the YJ crowd? Appreciate the help!

The only good quality option I’ve seen is a Tuffy. They definitely look utilitarian but they’re useful. For a 91-95 you’ll want the 6.5” as the seats are close together.

I have the Tuffy console in my 91 YJ. Its secure, can be painted (or not) and has the padded armrest. The cup holders are low and forward mounted. I have shown the 20 oz. and 30 oz. Yeti tumblers. The big one slightly interferes with MY shifter ( Lokar auto for 700R4).
