Hey all, looking for some assistance...I'm out of ideas. 1995 YJ 2.5/manual. I picked up the jeep mid-January, it was an OE special, original everything in great shape, never messed with. The only issue I've ran into so far is with the gauge cluster. Tach hasn't worked since I got it, and then the speedo went out. I have lights at the gauges and when cranking I get the check engine and seatbelt lights, from my understanding that tells me that there is a signal from the ECM to the cluster.

- Replaced fuse 9 and cleaned contacts.
- Cleaned ground connections on passenger side firewall and engine block.
- Checked continuity from cluster connections (iirc: pin 11 and 13) to the ECM (pin 43) and VSS. Both have continuity.
- Cleaned contacts at the gauges, didn't help, so then replaced printed circuit board on gauge cluster with new, not used circuit board.
- Replaced both gauges with used OE gauges. still nothing.
- Replaced VSS with new.
