1989 YJ with 2.5 manual. My 5th gear has always been hard to engage since I've had it. It doesn't seem to hit the magic spot. I have to double clutch and slowly release clutch to get it in 5th. I just change transmission fluid and install a shifter bushing kit. I still have same issue. All other gears hit perfectly.
Also, I can hit 5th with no issue while jeep in running and I'm sitting still. Just hard to hit while driving. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
