1995 YJ 2.5 engine swap for 2000 TJ 2.5

I recently purchased my Jeep. It's a 1995 YJ 4 cylinder with a 2000 TJ 4 cylinder engine. The engine hesitates and looses power around 2000 RPM. I changed the TPS and the idle air control valve with no effect.

Have you checked the fuel pressure and fuel filter that YJ have

This is missing some troubleshooting. You need to check fuel pressures, vacuum. When were the battery/ground cables last changed, when were the plugs, wires, cap and rotor last changed? Do you have a check engine light? If you don't did you try to pull the codes using the key method?

Your post is a statement with no actual question, just the assumption that folks here will help you with the bare-bones amount of information you've supplied. This is probably why you've only had one reply in 6 days.

If you're going to own a 30-year-old Jeep, you need to be able to do some problem-solving and troubleshooting.
