Hello everybody! New member here.
I have a 1993 2.5l yj which has been having pcm issues. When cold starting, it’ll run good for approximately 10 minutes before it gets boggy and starts backfiring at 2500 rpm. This limits the speed to under 80 klicks. I have 2 remanufactured pcm’s that are from a 95 and when I plug them in, the jeep will start, run rough, and die after a few seconds. If I apply the gas pedal on startup, it runs rough but stays alive. The codes that show up after the rough start are: 12, 33, 56, 27. Is there any way to make the newer pcm’s work (searching forums online, they should work?!)? Thank you for any help fellow yj lovers!
