It's an interesting coincidence that every Jeep vehicle we've featured so far in Rare Rides has been white. The white streak continues today with an absolutely pristine 1991 Wrangler Renegade, but here's a picture of a red one.

Just another example of trying to turn Jeeps into cars.
Remember the AMC Eagle?
Popular with the "Snow-Bunny" crowd in the late 80's, until they discovered what a pile of trash they were.
 
My neighbor had an Eagle, early 90’s. Nice concept but way too many problems. He drove it into the ground... literally. He went to change the radio and went off the road into a trench they were digging for a new drainage system. Lived to tell the tale but the Eagle didn’t.

Had an Uncle that had one briefly, don't how or when it went away, but I remember him complaining about it be a Lemon.
 
Those Jeep renegades have got to be the fuglyiest thing to roll off a jeep assembly line ever. I always wanted to take a Pacer and stick the body on a Bronco Chassis or whatever else would fit under it.
