There is a 90-degree fluoroelastomer (rubber) fitting that connects the metal fuel line to the fuel filter. My fitting failed and leaked, and I am having a hell of a time trying to find it.

What makes this part so difficult is twofold, first is that it is a 90-degree fitting, second,

it reduces from 3/8" to 5/16". I have it jimmied right now with a 5/16" hose, but it is so close to kinking that it is just a temporary fix.

Has anyone had to replace this part? Does anyone know anywhere I may be able to find this part?

I used a straight piece of Baracade fuel line. I inserted a spring inside it, so it couldn't collapse. It's been in there for 8,500 miles, so far so good.

I was able to buy that part brand new from Mopar a few years ago. I think it’s still available, I’ll try to find the part number.

Mopar 53004014. It’s around $30, which is absurd, but it’s a better choice than pretty much anything someone can cobble up themselves.

One solution would be to use a 90 deg. brass fitting with two barb fittings of the sizes that you need. Another would be to use a longer piece of hose like you have and loop it so that it doesn’t kink.

Holy bejesus, that is it!!!!! I just googled the Mopar part number and it came up. With shipping it’s over $30, but it works! Thank you I am going to pay that absurd price and put it in.
