1990 YJ won't go over 2000 RPM after having new tires put on

How much is the speedometer off since the tire change? I just switched from 30"s to 33"s and my speedometer is off 8-10 mph. This shows how much my final gear ratio has changed. I have 4.10 gears, so it actually made it drive better, but if i had the stock 3.73, I would be struggling to...

    Sloppy steering wheel

I agree with Stoopid jeep. I have a 93 with tilt steering. It has a Saginaw steering column. You should be able to get one at any junk yard. You already replaced the 2 u joints on the intermediate shaft between the steering column and steering gear box.

1990 YJ 4.2 sometimes sparks and runs some time not.

The crank position sensor on my 93 4.0 is on the bell housing behind the engine. Its not too hard to get at. I would replace the coil as well.

Cranks, no start no spark issue.

I ran into a problem like that on my 93 4.0. My battery was bad. It produced enough juice to crank, but not enough to run the computer. I have also had a similar issue with a bad coil and a bad crank position sensor.
