How can I get more power out of my 4 cylinder Jeep?

There are, but they don't function full time like a normal turbo charger, but rather for occasional boosts of power. And spendy.

Wipers only go about half way across my view out windshield

In the summer I set my arms down fairly low and out of the way at rest. They don't do as good a job, but with the bikini top on I don't drive it in the rain much. lol For winter and using them often in rain/snow, I moved them back up a bit for more coverage.

What's the craziest thing you have found on your skid plates?

Many years ago on a hunting trip with my brother in law driving in his YJ one night , we were caught in snow squall on already ice/snowy roads. An unexpected turn came up (a "Y" in the road) and some confusion ensued on which was the correct way to go... "left, no right", the poor choice at a...

Should I buy a YJ and sell my Toyota Matrix?

Well since he asked in April and hasn't posted since.... lol I'm glad my YJ isn't my only transportation. I just waited 4 days for a simple part I could have bought locally the same day for either of my other "newer" rides. (and by newer I mean 20 and 24 years old respectively. lol)

    This Jeep hates me

I had an S-10 Blazer that started over heating one cool night out of the blue. It would be fine for a while, then over heat again. Over time I flushed it, purged it and changed the antifreeze several times. Changed the thermostat several times, changed all the hoses, changed the water pump...

    Heater Control Connections Questions

Even if you have power hooked to the on/off micro switch, the fan won't run without the large plug attached to the speed control switch. (at least mine won't anyway.)

    Heater Control Connections Questions

^ that was pretty stupid. If the switch had only one wire going to it, it wasn't doing anything. It can't work as a switch, It can't provide powder, and it's plastic mounted so it can't provide a ground.

    Heater Control Connections Questions

If the large switch wasn't attached, you couldn't have had any control of the fan speeds. (For all we know the fan speed resistor could be bad and they didn't have any control of the fan speed anyway and figured they had nothing to lose? But why else would you pull it off? )

Why is there so much hate against YJ square headlight Jeeps?

There was a time when square (rectangle) lights made a car look modern. Now they make them look old.

    Heater Control Connections Questions

(edited several times as more things came back to me and I answered my own questions) There's a micro switch on the right side of the heater control unit that is the true on and off switch, it's activated when you slide the lever to the right. The switch and plug shown are just the speed...

Issue with front and rear blinkers

Sounds like you probably have a bad ground. Fast blinking is a symptom of that, and since you had the fender off it makes sense.

WHY? J's (the YJ abomination thread)

While I'm not horrified by the idea of a round headlight conversion, I am horrified by that price. Sorry, no. That aside, don't those look kind of small? ^ Little pig eyed Jeep?

    What is this?

That wasn't filter, it was more of a gasket.
