FedEx delivered 2 new Bestop Trailmaster II seats yesterday. I have assembled one and determined that it can be used on either the driver or passenger side. The instructions say to leave the mounts in the vehicle and to remove the seats from the mounts. No way I was going to do it that way...

I was an inspector in a helicopter gearbox room for many years, these patterns look good to me. Sorry for the delay in replying.

I may opt to try to find a replacement fuel sending unit and drop the tank in the future. So if anyone has information about where to get such a unit, post here!

Well you are correct again! It is indeed a plastic tank. Now that that has been confirmed, where do I find documentation on how to do the vent mod? I ran her out of fuel and only put about 14 1/2 gallons in to fill it. I probably could live with it the way it is when I thought it was a 15...

Don’t forget to get the correct shift linkage and brackets when changing to the AX-15. Spend the time to change out the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel ( if necessary ) and most importantly the rear main seal. There’s nothing worse than having to take it apart and do it again!

Wow! They are pretty proud of those! I had aluminum boat tanks welded up in custom sizes for half the cost about 2 years ago. I also don’t see any information on a sending unit. Maybe it’s included. Maybe not!

The 15 gallon tank is not big enough in Florida. It’s 45 miles to go anywhere around here.

Now that I’ve determined that the fuel tank is actually 15 gallons and the fuel gage is inaccurate at the bottom end of the range, I’m wondering if there is a preferred vendor for new 20 gallon replacement parts? Do I need to replace the skid plate too?

Update: When I was speaking to Morris 4x4 support whit the intention to cancel the order due to them changing the delivery date out to 11/24 I learned two things. One: the 11/24 date was completely inaccurate- they informed me that the seats had already been shipped with an expected delivery...
