I just finished my '93 rebuild/restoration (see on build thread) and I removed the tailgate striker and the inner handle cover plate. Or you could mask off also with no issue. I also sprayed the inside of the tailgate so it all match the sides and wheel wells.

Hello all, I'm having trouble with the installation of a new rubber insulator sleeve and clip that goes on the inside of the transfer case shifter rods square housing. Has anyone successfully installed these ? I've used a little grease hoping it would slide inside with ease (which it does)...

Can you cut it off, answer yes. If you don't have ac then there's no need for it. Personally I don't like to remove any factory plugs.

I have a 93 YJ with broken center ac vents. Has anyone had to replace these vents and if so where did you find them? Seems they are not available. I find hard to believe as popular as these jeeps are that there are no reproductions out there.

It plugs into the ac accumulator bottle, a silinoid switch. If you don't have ac, you don't need it.
