    94 Sahara 4.0 manual won't start

Replace the positive and negative battery cables. Simple and cheap. I had the same issue several years ago. Even though the cables looked good, the negative that grounds to the engine block was corroded inside about midway. After replacing, it started right up. My curiosity, as always...

Whats the trick to seperate the shifter?

There's also a rubber sleeve, called a shift lever isolator seal. It's inside the retaining clip that's holding this together. You might be able to save it. If not you'll need to get a new one. The sleeve makes it a tight slip-fit inside. Without the sleeve back in, it'll be a tad sloppy...

Added 4" suspension lift, need suggestions to fix steering now

Yup, stock shackles. I'm guessing the new leafs are arched different than stock. In fact, I know they are, so that's probably why. I'm also guessing that depending on what brand of lift you're installing may also determine whether one might need to add shims or not. I even read on a...

Added 4" suspension lift, need suggestions to fix steering now

Gonna answer my own question. Added 6 degree shims up front, let the track bar connected. The shims put the caster angle by on center, issue fixed. Drives straight and smooth.

Added 4" suspension lift, need suggestions to fix steering now

Recently added a 4" RC suspension lift. Kit came with everything, springs, shocks, longer pitman arm, track bar bracket, ect (no shims). This is new to me and since added the steering is a little jerky from side to side. It's not crazy bad, but it's there. I'm running 33's x 12.5 x 15 wheels...

Anyone install the complete JeepAir kit?

I have a 6 cylinder and it has no drag on the engine. I can't say how it performs on a 4 cylinder if that's your engine. As far as the ac working, most of the time I'm running it at medium speed catus it'll freeze you out.. that's a good thing though and I live in south florida. And yes...

    Re-seal seams under windshield

Another place for water entry if you have a hard top will be along what would be the "A" pillar on car/trucks. Since jeeps have a fold down front windshield there's no pillar, but it's the side of the windshield frame. Water will run off the roof, along the drip rails and work it's way thru...

    Re-seal seams under windshield

Welcome, First....almost every Jeep collects water on the floor boards do to age, but there are several things you can do the minimize it to "ALMOST" no water entering. 1) The area you're showing is the cowl panel and that is one place for leaks as the factory seam seal will cracked and become...

Anyone install the complete JeepAir kit?

Out of curiosity, why not keep all 3 vehicles mentioned and keep the jeep as is. Drive the Civic as your daily. Problem solved (mic dropped)..lol or is space the issue ? of course this is coming from one who owns 8 vehicles (wife has 1 of 8) with 2 being Jeep YJ's, one with a/c and one w/o...

Suspension lift kit suggestions for a stock 93 YJ?

Hello all, Picked this stock '93 up a couple months ago for another resto project. A stock 6 cylinder, auto with a/c and hard top. I'm new to lifting these and looking for suggestions. The end goal is nothing more than a once a week around town/beach on the summer days.. No 4-wheeling or...

    95 YJ Build (Sleipnir)

Cool, Not sure of the level of restoration you're looking for or lasting durability and I'd hate to see all your/friends hard work go down the drain after a few months. If you're wanting something that look good for a few months and you're planning to just beat around off road then 1K material...

    95 YJ Build (Sleipnir)

Is that 2k epoxy primer you're using out of that rattle can over bare metal? If not, moisture will penetrate that rattle can primer and you'll lose your base coat and all that hard work. Also a heat gun (Harbor Freight) can be your friend when removing old filler. Able to control the temp...

    Should I buy this YJ?

You got to ask yourself.. what's your trucks worth, true value, not personal value. Likewise, I'd be tearing that down to ground zero.. currently not my liking. Plus, many of times guys bolt that crap diamond plate over rust, so beware of that. You'd want to ask seller to show you those...
