Didnt the alignment shop have any input on worn parts? These days it seems alignments, tire balancing and a few other basic functions of a competent shop have gone bye bye.

You've heard the obvious, its no sports car. Crappy worn tires can track terribly, bad tie rod ends, bad alignment like a axle rotated wrong from a funky lift etc. You mention play in the steering?? that from a worn box or? and as far as a steering stabilizer...if its wandering the stabilizer...

I had the Howell kit on one of my CJ's and yes there should be a fuse for the pump somewhere in the system. Might google howells website where full install instructions can be found. Hard to say offhand what/where somebody did during the install you have.

Also check closely near the bottoms of the shocks for stamped numbers in the bodies. Those ar typically the part numbers yo can google up and see who made them etc.

What YT said. Unless changed you have what I think is the single year? throttle body fuel injection in your hand. Rockauto has replacement injectors and a service kit but finding the entire bolt on TB may be difficult.

Coil break down Perhaps? You still have spark? My 91 had a frame mounted fuel filter. Stalling is a potential related thing as the system starves for fuel.

I don't think it would prevent it from starting. That's based on other vehicles Ive played with, but It likely would run poorly once running.

Exactly, Ive owned 1/2 ton dodges & chevies, 3/4 ton dodges & fords and chevies that used the 205 T case. Im sure the front yoke was different per mfg'er and GVW of the truck.

Mic it and go to Dennys drive shafts and look up the dimensions. 205's were used in to many different trucks to guess what yoke it has on it.

I had one on my 91 and I assume your talking about the quarter turn to lock down ones. Might give McMaster Carr a look as they have all kinds of odd ball hardware. Thats all I can think of.
