Harbor Freight has an Inline Spark Testing Light for $4.99 , you can test each individual spark plug and your coil by moving if to each wire. When I'm working on a no start I always start with this test and if everything is good in the fire department I move on to fuel.

my exhaust manifold on my 91 2.5 had major cracks on the underneath side. you can't see or feel them unless you remove the manifold. after I replaced it , it runs so quiet I can sneek up on people with it running. replacements at Napa $100 bucks +/-. Change the freeze plugs while your in there.

T-Rex makes a good point, remove your coil and shake it. if it rattles replace it. I delt with the same symptoms and removed my exhaust manifold and found a number of major cracks on the under neath side. After the engine got warm the cracks got larger and sucked oxygem into the exhaust system ...
