Luk Clutch Kit Throw Out Bearings

I used a LUK clutch kit in my 91/2.5 with no issues. Ive read more bad related to the "special" clutch kits than any of the oem style kits. Id use one again if I needed one.

Recommendations on repairing this wiring plug

Bad grounds and dirty contacts can or will cause. My 91 had similar looking areas. I ran a separate/extra ground for the cluster and what do ya know, the gauges even read a bit different. A good pencil eraser can be good for cleaning up those copper tabs. Wont hurt to pull the bulb retainers...

    Won’t start unless jumped

Sounds like a bad battery cable(s) and the extra from jumping it does the trick. You do a voltage drop test at the battery or starter yet? Battery cables can look fine but be in bad shape internally from corrosion.

    New seats too high

Before I even read your post I said to myself he bought Bestop seats. My 91 had them, Im 6'2" myself and found them to high as well. I cant recall entirely but I contemplated fabbing a full side to side tubular seat mount set up.

    Stalling on deceleration (EGR?)

Ive had my share of old vehicles with EGR's. yes, if the pintle does not close it will cause terrible idling and stalling. Is that's wrong with yours, only you can say. Far as it leaking vac, I just cant recall, but seem to think some will not hold vac using something like a mighty vac, it just...

Full throttle gives a rattle sound

That sounds like the cataclysmic converter your're describing. Try rapping on it with your hand and listen for rattles. They seem to be short lived on jeeps for whatever reason.

Fuel Line / Pump / Filter Query

Late model vehicles generally use a cap that should allow air into the tank to prevent vacuum collapse as fuel is used, but disallow pressure/fumes/vapors out. That's where the charcoal canister and smog system come into play. The tanks pressure is released into the canister and any liquid or...

Fuel Line / Pump / Filter Query

Let me add this. From what I read its hard or not possible to draw fuel thru a dead OEM in tank fuel pump. Contradicts your ability to even drive the jeep, but who knows. maybe somebody has a stocker laying around they can experiment on.

Best option for stock exhaust system replacement

No muff shops in the area? Those 5 piece kits are OK but the clamps come loose eventually and leak and the entire thing just gets ugly IMO.

Fuel Line / Pump / Filter Query

Normally it would have a fuel feed line to the carb, the return line and a vent line (red one Id bet) that goes to the charcoal canister. Where you have your filter is pretty much where the one on my 91 was. But not knowing its past history whats the inside of the tank like? rusty, crusty...

    BBD new carb setup

If you have fuel to the carb but no fuel getting into the carb Id be looking at the float being stuck up, it thinks the bowl is full already. If its not the float its gotta be the needle in the seat is hung up or plugged, some I've seen have a tiny little screen/filter, or they never drilled it...
