Have an all original 95'YJ and want to replace factory shocks with ones with a better ride. Any recommendations? (quadratec 7000? Sorry no off roading or trails for this pavement princess. Thx

I had Old Man Emu shocks for my lift and I loved the way they rode. Very soft and comfortable. I went back to stock height and used Bilsteins. I don’t like them. Very stiff. I’m planning on going back to OME eventually. Even if they are a tiny bit long for stock height, they’ll be fine. I want that ride back.

Hey guys. I have OME’s and full OME springs on two toyotas i have, but they ride pretty stiff on the 4runner. Less so on the older tacoma. I just went to bilstein 5100’s on my ‘94 YJ - but it has a 3-4” lift. I love them. There was only one option for the front, I went with the softer rear of 2 choices in the bilstein, they had two valving options. I am glad i did.
