I want to completly remove the heater housing from my 89. any one have any insight to it., Mainly does the entire dash have to come out to get it out.

I tackled this last fall. See my build thread for some pictures starting at post #112. It’s not hard to remove the glove box and the instrument cluster and the radio so I did that, but I did not remove the metal dash frame.

thank you that was helpful, What does the firewall look like with the heater out. Is it going to look awful. Im taking the heater out and leaving it out. We never drive the jeep in cold weather so not needed.
