Which shocks?

I'm looking to replace the old shocks on 88 yj I purchased. First owner installed 2 inch body lift , also "Add a leaf springs" . Now I'm not sure what size/ type shocks I need to purchase. The tires are 31s. Any idea ???

If you want a shock that rides better than any other I've tried, get the Rancho RS5000X shocks.

The 2" body lift doesn't count for suspension, so you just have to figure out how much suspension lift you have, then by the appropriate sized shock.

Rancho RS5000X shocks seem to have some of the best valving for a Wrangler.

Yep, I don't think you'll regret them. Not only are they cheap, but they don't ride stiff like most of the other shocks on the market (Fox, Bilstein, etc.).

Haha, anything’s gonna be an improvement on my old wreck! I gave a good lean on a front fender today to check and it barely even budged never mind bounce!
