What’s this go to

Hey, need some help. 1992 YJ 2.5L. What does this go to? Is it correct? Does it have an attachment or is it broken? Can’t find anything it should connect to. Looks like a vacuum line to me.

In the area it is at, it looks like it might be a check valve for the 4x4. Does yours work?

Far as I know. Haven’t used it for a while. Is there something that should go on the other end?

Might be ok. Found this in the resources manuals on this site.

It’s fine, that’s a vent for the 4x4 vacuum system. Totally normal.

Just what I was thinking, though I don't have mine handy to look at.
Given the routing from the harness and the direction it's going, it's something for the CAD.
EDIT : Macho is probably right, the vent for the vac switch makes sense, as does your pic from the manual.
