89 wrangler anyone tell me what this is for its mounted on firewall next to battery

it says reset and something 3v cant read rest of it. the bottom up underneath of it has a rounded type deal like a security camera dome

Does the cast split into two halves? Looks as though there is a seam.
Does it have any electrical connections coming from it that you can trace?

That is strange, judging by your description of the bottom being dome shaped, it smacks of something vacuum.
It looks like it has a line on the left side at the front and possibly another at the rear?
Looking at the scale of the radiator support rod, it looks too small to even be plastic vac line.
I'm stumped.

it does look like it splits in half there is some wires going to it dont see any type vacuum going to it im thinking possably a TYPE OF LEVELING DEVICE next i think i take apart the wires go into harness can only track it so far

If there are openings around the dome on the bottom and is supported by webs, @cas may have just solved your riddle.
