Does it handle poorly or something? Not trying to push you to go faster or anything but 55 mph is pretty slow for a really long road trip like that. My YJ in good condition easily handles 70-75 or higher. I am from Texas so I have driven many miles at 80 and it has never been an issue at all. Not saying you need to go 80 but something probably needs fixin’ if it feels too scary to go faster than 55. Just a thought.
