First off picture for attention!
So I'm helping my best friend with his 1990 YJ Wrangler Islander, it was mine and I sold it to him, which has a 4.2l and a A999 3-speed automatic that has died. I have a good AW4 with a universal TCU that I would like to install in his Wrangler but we really want to keep the column shift. I know we wouldn't be able to get down to first gear, which isn't an issue, but I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to connect the column shifter to the AW4.
Has anyone done this before?
