I'm considering getting one of these cargo netting things for my '95 YJ, but anything that is YJ specific is prohibitively expensive (several hundred). I've seen the same product for TJs much cheaper (https://ebay.us/m/Xa7x8p). Would this work on a YJ? Would it be too loose in the back? How much narrower are the back roll bars on YJ vs TJ? Thanks in advance!

I can’t tell you the exact difference in the two but they are similar enough that I can’t imagine that there isn’t enough adjustment in the TJ net that it couldn’t be made to fit. It is just straps. I definitely would give it a try.
I think the TJ netting will fit fine above the driver's compartment as I believe that area is dimensionally the same between the TJ and YJ, but the YJ bars at the back seat area taper in when following them from back to front. The TJ has less of a taper. The netting will most likely fit snugly where the bars go vertical, but be a little loose at the horizontal locations.
I bought one of these eBay ones for $85. They suck and don't fit at all. I could probably make the top piece work but the pieces in the sides are too short in the horizontal direction. And the top piece is missing Velcro on one of the straps. I returned it. I'll probably buy one of the Smittybilt ones. They for the TJ as well but there are folks in the Amazon reviews using them on YJs. But they're much more expensive.
