Does anyone know how much weight the bracket that the hardtop bolts to on top of the windshield can hold? Question is whether it’d be a bad idea to mount a rack on that bracket.
To help understand are you saying mount a rack on the hard top? that would essentially put a load on that bracket thats attached to the hard top and slips over the windshield frame.

No the top is off so would use the holes that normally holds the top in place and then the backside of the rack would rest on the roll cage in the back
