Question for you guys. On the handle to raise the passenger seat to raise the seat forward so you can get in the back seat…is there some sort of rubber or plastic piece that should cover (slip over) the handle to protect your hand from the edges? Hope that makes sense.

Mine doesnt have one, and I dont know it it ever came covered from the factory, but the edges are not sharp on mine either.
I just wanted to out something in there for my wife. I ended up putting some adhesive backed foam on there. Thx.
That’s what I thought. Know where I can get one? Temporary I put some adhesive backed foam till I can find one. I thought about plasti-dip but that would be difficult.
Not sure. Mine has always had one. Maybe eBay? My factory one slips off every now and again if that makes you feel any better.
Lol. I have seen the same style of protectors on other things but for the life of me, can’t remember where. Part number is J545-8945 but it’s obviously discontinued.
