Hello all. I'm from Louisiana and am new to this forum and a new YJ owner. However, this is my 5th Jeep. I've owned (in order of owning) a 1983 CJ-7, a 2003 Wrangler Sport, a 2007 Wrangler Rubicon, and a 1976 CJ-5. By far my favorite was my CJ-7, but probably because it was my first Jeep....you know, first love and all
I recently purchased a 1992 YJ with 217k miles on it. It has the 2.5L inline 4cyl and a manual transmission. I replaced the exhaust system the day after I bought it because the front drive shaft had rubbed a huge hole in the exhaust pipe
. I want to keep it as stock as I can and will be replacing parts as I go and am in no hurry-I'm retired.
So far, this forum has provided a lot of good information and I've only been on here a short time. Looking forward to getting more ideas, information, and advice from other YJ owners.
