Finished up the brakes today after letting the fitting soak in PB blaster over night. I had to remove the drive side brake line to get a better angle at the fitting. I was thinking about adding brand new lines but then I might as well do the whole brake system if I did. The rubber brake lines were definitely deteriorating as you can see by color of the brake fluid. I did flush and change the fluid when I first bought the Jeep. Didn’t get to add the posi-lock yet so I won’t be 4 wheeling any time soon. My wife told me she wanted it out of the garage so we had our gym back. I had her pumping the brakes so I guess she earned it. Took the Jeep for a spin around the block and making a turn heard a clink clink and thump thump and was like crap I forgot to tighten something down.
